TECHSOFT has been awarded a contract to provide training
development for the Naval Education and Training Professional
Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC)

Services Inc. (TECHSOFT) has been awarded a contract to provide training
development for the Naval Education and Training Professional Development
and Technology Center (NETPDTC) in support of the Naval Education Training
There were a total of eight awardees for this Indefinite
Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a total potential
value of over $97 million dollars. TECHSOFT is the only small business
awardee, with a contract potential value of $84 million over three
TECHSOFT is teamed with The Columbia Group and Advanced Systems
Technology, Inc. for the effort.

NETPDTC is located on Saufley Field in Pensacola, Florida, and
is responsible for providing the Naval Service with quality products and
services to support and enhance education, training, career development,
and personnel advancement. Rear Admiral Donald P. Quinn is the head of
NETC and directs Navy’s training and education programs from Pensacola,
Fla. In addition to NETPDTC, NETC is the parent command for the Naval
Service Training Command (NSTC), Naval Education and Training Security
Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA), and the NETC Learning Centers and
Training Support Centers and Detachments scattered throughout the U.S.
Through this contract, TECHSOFT will provide education and training
products, as well as support services for NETPDTC’s Manpower, Personnel,
Training and Education (MPTE) Enterprise, and other Department of
Defense and Department of the Navy customers.
TECHSOFT has developed training for the U.S. Navy and other defense
customers since 1993, ranging from instructor-led courses and
computer-assisted training products, to highly interactive web-based
training, and has designed automated electronic classroom systems for
the Navy and other customers.
