TECHSOFT Director a Featured Speaker at National Cyberlog Conference
Pensacola, Florida - Mike Knox, Director of Engineering Process Services for TECHSOFT, was a featured speaker at the Cyberlog Mid-America 2010 Conference held in July outside of St. Louis, in Collinsville, Illinois.
Knox, who leads TECHSOFT's CMMI® efforts for government and industry clients, is certified by the Software Engineering Institute as a CMMI® Instructor.
During the conference, Knox presented a briefing titled "Improving the DoD Supply Chain with CMMI® Best Practices." The presentation, which was selected by a committee, focused on demystifying CMMI® by showing the model's flexibility through the success story of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic). This year, SSC Atlantic became the first Naval Systems Center to achieve CMMI® Maturity Level 3.
TECHSOFT has a staff of CMMI experts who work closely with SSC Atlantic to train, advise, and provide the tools needed for successful process improvement.
The annual Cyberlog Mid-America Conference is sponsored by the St. Louis chapters of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) and the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA). Cyberlog is the premiere conference for those involved in Defense or Government Information Technology, Communications, Logistics, or Intelligence. Its goal is to bring together the communications and logistics communities to address topics critical to deter war and protect the security of the country.
